I'm okay with it. He's a winger. They have a longer shelf life. He's dynamic enough to be more than effective throughout the life of his contract, whereas guys like Evander Kane give me doubts.

Your options are limited with O'Reilly. That contract lowers his value a lot more than people realize. The object with him isn't necessarily to save cap space. It's to find a player that does more for that cap space.
