What do you mean? That’s my point. He wouldn’t produce more overall points with a lesser role, but he would be a more efficient player

You're an insufferable bumhole.

I really don't care if I get banned.

You a miserable, self-aggrandizing, arrogant clown of the worst variety. Kindly (frank) off and stop talking to me.

Jesus Christ I'm beginning to think you have a crush on me. Or you're gonna track me down and kill me. Just (frank)ing stop talking to me

season ticket renewal from irish people in WNY?

You're better off bringing Kolzig, Zhitnik or Mariusz Czerkawski out of retirement for that...

That’s less than .1 PPG difference
- sbroads24

Plus he’s playing 5 minutes LESS for Winnipeg

And his Corsi is 4.5% better
And relative Corsi is 2.3 better

So did Kulikov magically become a better player?
Or do ALL his stats look better bc he’s in a better situation?

Obviously you’re a smart dude,
but it’s mind boggling how u continuously ignore this stuff

Less minutes would make him better IMO. More efficient.

Wouldn’t make him produce more in terms of point totals

- sbroads24

That's pretty much what his numbers show. Looks like he gets his numbers whether he plays 2 minutes less per game or not.

2011-2012: total points 55 (PPP 15), TOI/GP 19:31, P/GP .68
2013-2014: total points 64 (PPP 22), TOI/GP 19:49, P/GP .80
2014-2015: total points 55 (PPP 12), TOI/GP 19:43, P/GP .67
2015-2016: total points 60 (PPP 22), TOI/GP 21:44, P/GP .84
2016-2017: total points 55 (PPP 24), TOI/GP 21:27, P/GP .76
2017-2018: total points 59 (PPP 21), TOI/GP 20:47, P/GP .75

Winnipeg’s wingers on line 2 are Schieffle & Laine
The 1st line wingers are Connor & Wheeler

Give O’Reilly EITHER set (even here in Buffalo)...
and tell me he doesn’t score more points

What does Corsi matter in this?

We’re talking about point production.

I’m not saying O’Reilly wouldn’t be “better” in a better situation.

I’m saying he isn’t putting up more points with a better team, unless he’s still playing a major role and a lot of minutes.

And Kulikov had like a 6 game point streak or something like that earlier this year and has done basically nothing outside of it

How many times are you going to overlook this very key sentence at the end?

"This is a style comparison only though, and not based on talent level."

Jesus Christ.

Reading that I see, "slow player, doesn't create but cashes in on others' chances." He's a physical, dirty version of Reinhart. And that's fine, if we didn't already have Reinhart, we need a D-Man who can create and move the puck up ice.

Schiefele is a Center.

Stastny is basically the same player as O’Reilly and is producing slightly more since he got there, which isn’t unusual for a deadline add. They usually see a spike in production

His time in STL looks a bit lackluster to be honest.

Is that a reflection on the STL style of play compared to the Jets?

I think a lot of what goes into having a good or bad season is way more than point totals.

I think O’Reilly has been average to below average this year for what his role/cap hit dictates.

Coincidentally his worst PPG year there was when he played under 18 a game.

He’s a fine player, same as O’Reilly. Probably overvalued

Did you happen to read the last line in the scouting report? I'll give you a hint, it was the sentence I posted.

The problem is you take scouting reports as gospel. They only say the most glowing things about players and what few "negative" things they say are couched in the most positive way.
