The problem is you take scouting reports as gospel. They only say the most glowing things about players and what few "negative" things they say are couched in the most positive way.
- Wetbandit1

can you chill out I didn’t even read the scouting report I don’t need to read the scouting report for Brady I watched him the whole year when he played in college

I posted that to start a conversation and then you just went Weird

The only people I have no idea about is the defenseman because I hate defenseman in the top 10

That's not surprising...

How did I go weird?

He's the biggest boom or bust guy in the top of the draft. He could easily be a slightly better Marcus Foligno.

He’s a bust to some people in their eyes I don’t know why probably just look at his stats and say wow he sucks

He’s the complete package watching him he just destroys the college players if he was on a different team some people might think different of him

But I’m only picking him if we don’t have 1-3

How can he "destroy" them if his stats suck? If he can't beat college goalies he'll have no hope in hell of beating NHL ones.

He could be the next Cam Neely for all I know, but he's too risky to take at 4 given the needs the Sabres have.

If he was there at 7 or 8 I'd take him, but I'm going defense at 4-6.

Right, I forgot you don't watch GoT. Although, just being aware of pop culture you should get that by looking at it.

It’s between tk or Wahlstrom for me

When I mean destroying I mean outworking all the players on the boards he’s hard to get off the puck

Some people have to understand if he’s already a full grown player what do you think he’s going to be like when he develops that’s the scary part.

He’s not “the problem” but he certainly isn’t the reason we win games when we do.

At that salary, he should be at least sometimes.

There are a ton of legitimate reasons to move him

How can you completely overlook rors's 59 points?
Scoring goals and passing the puck to score:
WINS games.

imagine if he had good line mates

Bandit, unless you actually watch games involving these "4-6" in the draft defenseman, seems like your basing your opinion on scouting reports.

A lot of us are basing our hopeful #4 of Brady tkachuk , on the fact that we have seen him play, even live.

He's a hard worker, no doubt, but I feel like there's a skill gap that gives me pause at 4th. Like I said before, 7th or 8th and I wouldn't feel as worried about him.

I'm basing it on team need. We need D-Men more than we need a hard working, but not super skilled forward.

For some odd reason, BT feels like a forced fit at 4, and I’m not certain I want another “brother” of a current player to be on the Sabres...seen that picture too many times and it rarely goes well.

If they pick 4th, I’d like to see if JBotts can either:
A) pull a Beaner-move...maybe slide into 2 to get Svechnikov
B) trade back a pick or two and grab Boqvist

At 4, I’d prefer to grab a D...my own self
