I'm with you on this. Sad times but it is the right moment. We have the pieces coming into place for the next era just need to be patient and watch it all unfold. Hopefully our gaping holes on Defence is addressed sooner rather than later.

God I hope Friedman is right about them only wanting to sign UFA' to shorter term deals and willing to eat bad contracts for draft picks. Maybe now that the Sedins are gone, Linden is finally accepting reality.

Shouldn't be the reason. But, JB is probably more likely to load up on picks next year given the draft is in Van. Specifically another 1st. Just a hunch. See how Edler fairs next year, but he's been real good this year. Imagine if he has another year like this. Could get you a late 1st. Or they could resign him because they have no D.

not sure if it has been posted, and I refuse to go back and read pages because of whitey's bio, but my buddy texted me this morning saying he heard some media guy say the Canucks could look into acquiring Hossa and his contract, along with Nashvilles 1st rounder that they sent to Chicago for Hartmen, along with either Sikura/Forsling. Has anyone else heard this?
