How much do you want to bet that if the canucks are losing people will leave early. I saw it in the most critical of playoff games so why would this night be any different?

Most of those $400+ tickets were scooped up by pillow biters.

Depends how bad of a blow out. I saw people leaving on Tuesday when the game was tied 4-4 going into OT. I didn't care we lost, it was just fun to watch the Sedins live one last time. At least that was my mentality.

100%

Then do it again the next day with the best ufa availabke on July 2nd. By July 7th, we should have at least 12 draft picks for 2019

If JB's worth anything as a GM, this should be his modus operandi. Got to start thinking outside the box.

Anything less would be a fail.

Capri pants, latte, and a small dog on leash. Then they started growing beards and wearing plaid button-downs.

I lived in Yaletown for 10 years. I was surrounded by them day in and day out.

I haven't yet and it will be awhile before I do. I'm staying local for the time being. No urge to go to the US anytime soon. Those mother(frank)ers be crazy.

I have to stay to the end, but I lingered on Tuesday to watch the final ovations and the handshake line with Vegas.

I'm always a bit reluctant to leave after the last game of the year. That'll be even more true tonight.

The new blog is up:

Year after year Tampa has forwards at the top of the AHL and Nashville brings a new dman up that excels. I agree the drafting is key, whatever it is they're using to assess guys it's working. But so is developing them for extended periods of time.

That was a mistake, but their drafting outside of round 2 makes up for passing on Jones and drafting Brent Connolly.

Just for the record I too am sad to see the Sedins go. I do wonder what Life After Sedins is like. I still think it is time . They still will be here next year mentoring and helping out but it won't be in uniform.

Good luck to them and better luck to us.

I second this.
