On a side note Casey looks legit
- gerbe75pts
...Kinda hope he gets 2 points tomorrow so he's a PPG in his brief rookie debut.

What I find impressive is that he has points in 4 of his first 5 games. He’s making an impact in each game. Not just having a huge multi-point night and not seeing him on the score sheet till 3 games later. |

Watching the game on the dvr now.
The hit gourde put on okposo early in the second period that prompted scandella to take a double minor was dirtier than the hartnell hit on antipin the other day to me by a long shot. Okposo doesnt see him, doesnt feel him coming and gourde throws him into the boards from behind. Okposo was that bad distance from the boards 2-5ft away when he got hit. To me, i immediately thought it was shady.
Compared to the hartnell hit the other day, the puck was gone (doesnt really bother me), okposo was further away from the boards, he was bent over and his head went right into the glass when he got hit.
If kyle goes down flat and motionless like antipin did what is the outcome? Its poopty how the aftermath weighs heavier than the action itself in hockey. No penalty for gourde, double minor for scandella who landed one punch and nobody is going to talk about it because okposo didnt get injured. I dont know what to think anymore. |

Gunna need to win the lotto or drop several spots for that. It's looking like another winger this year for us - Sabresfan-365
Another winger? Nylander is the only winger weve drafted in the first round since armia in 2011. One out of the last eight first rd picks. |

Was at the game last night.
what a great game to watch, I was hoping the Sabres would play well and be entertaining...but hoping for a Bolts win so they are positioned to beat the Bruins for 1st in Division and Conference.
Objective realized.
I thought Nylander played ok, kid is fast. And while it was a deflection, he was in the right place...good for him.
Mitts looked good to me, still has a way to go, but the skill and drive are there...Time is on his side.
Entertaining game to say the least.
I hope Sabres fans in Buffalo can generate the same type of energy that was felt in the Amelia Center last night...the in-game experience is fun ... largely because there are many exciting plays by the Bolts...hopefully the Sabres get there soon enough...last night was a step in the right direction.

So let me get this straight... The Sabres, clearly the worst NHL franchise in the last decade, will wind up last in the league only to have a whopping 18% chance at the first pick in the draft? Not that it would make them any better but that is one screwed up system the NHL has.... But then again what should we expect from the worst professional sports league in North America? |

Any league that changes the rules on how you can score a goal to win a championship game AFTER it happens doesnt have much cred going for it in the first place.
.....and yet we keep coming back!
At least the concessions are cheap at the areanas!

Kyle ( retire) if he doesn't trade him
RoR trade him to the highest bidder we are going to a faster gameplay he's not going to be able to keep up
Sam - 3 year deal if he wants more than 4 million trade him to the highest bidder
We definitely need to sign capable goaltender in free agency maybe we bring back Ryan Miller to split games or you get Jonathan Bernier |

I'm prepared.

You’re probably right.
In other news, Pegulas working on partnering with industry mogul for Sabres much like they did with New Era and Bills. Tostitos believed to be the leader in the clubhouse. They are literally covering the floors. |

A. I don't believe that for a second.
B. If they get you know who in the draft, Bogo is toast for sure, if he isn't already.
But as someone else already said, it's not like Bogo is going to magically stay healthy. |

I'd prefer if it were serious the entire time as that's the gravity of the story line, but it's Marvel, which means bring on the jokes. They already turned a serious storyline into an evening at the improv with Thor Ragnarok. |
