Yeah he was looking awesome kept on gaining more confidence and then by the end of the game he was controlling the play
And come on people he was winning faceoffs
I honestly think Ryan O'Reilly's days are done - gerbe75pts
his days were numbered the second he backed into that Tim Horton's and became the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Honestly, idk who has a bigger hunch-back, him or Lucic. |

A. I don't believe that for a second.
B. If they get you know who in the draft, Bogo is toast for sure, if he isn't already.
But as someone else already said, it's not like Bogo is going to magically stay healthy. - kingcong39
Yeah that's a different story but long shot at best. I dont think they want to buy him out and there's no way anyone goes near him in a trade.
I think they'll just try and revamp the forwards and goalies. |

If we trade moulson to Ottawa or another rebuilding team, can we hold half of his 5 million salary?
What does it cost the new team?
I realize it would be 2.5 , but doesn't he only make 2 million next year and a cap hit of 5 million?
Someone help clarify. Thank you |

Have to think jbotts will sign at least 1 veteran defenseman this off season
Risto
McCabe
Guhle
Nelson
Scandella
Maybe: antipin, borgen , Faulk, draft pick?

I'd prefer if it were serious the entire time as that's the gravity of the story line, but it's Marvel, which means bring on the jokes. They already turned a serious storyline into an evening at the improv with Thor Ragnarok. - kingcong39
Yeah wasn’t a fan of ragnarok it was alright but to Disney for me |

McCabe, Guhle will improve by year
Scandella is stable
Antipin will be a vet, Faulk is a decent filler and Borgen has mad upside.
Unless is Karlsson or doughty why chase F.A. defensemen? |

because De Haan and Van Riemsdyk would probably be the 2nd or 3rd best d-man on this team? |

We don’t even have a team yet, look what happens when you bring in outside professionals into an unstable environment.
It creates tension because everyone thinks they know the answer.
Bring up Rochester payers, form a core, fill the voids.
Since Pegula bought the team, how many trades or free agents came in and actually helped or have become long term pillars of the organization?
(frank) other talent for now, build our own. |

Not sure if he would sign here unless we pay him 2 million per more then other teams. Also, no trade and long term deal. 3 things we just did wrong with okposo.
Then it becomes a problem with signing others moving forward. |

Need a guy with some experience. Basically another 5 or 6 guy. More for depth.
Faulk is a #7 defenseman on the 31st place team.
Not sure if hes in the future

That one is on the GM. (frank) this current "talent". its a bunch of overpaid, slow, low IQ players.
For the defense specifically, the next best AHL call up is at least a year away. It would not hurt this team to remove bogosian and bring in a d-man who can skate and make smart plays.

I like your thinking. It would be nice to add a decent defenseman that isn't going to break the bank or disturb the continuity. Just 1.
Like you said, the high priced guys just don't fit. Maybe it's the money and ego that goes with those signings.
I'm not sure who is ready this year to move up and make the big club. After this year we should have the system in place

I still say if we kept myers, armia, lemieux, zads, compher, mcnabb
flipped staff at deadline
don't trade for lehner, disco sucks, vesey
and kept our picks 2 firsts, 4 2nds, 2 thirds
this team would be on par with the leafs by next season

Pegula came in an shook up management, which then trickled down to the players. Darcy tried to change his ways and that got him fired, GMTM went full blown rockstar...other than 2 crazies on here, we all agree (frank) that.
He just hit the reset button again, potential is still there.
Hardhat would agree with me that the slower concrete hardens, the stronger it becomes.

Eichel is going to lead our team in scoring despite missing 15 (pretty much 16) games
That’s sad |
