Not every player on every team is a star.

Hes a good young durable try hard former 1st round pick.
We gave up 2 seconds for gorges and 4.5 x 3 right

- Boss34

We gave 1 second for Gorges. We gave 2 seconds for Fasching.

But some players just need to go. Mitts and maybe Nylander, 2018 1st, Guhle, Bap, and any other stands outs from training camp all need roster spots next year. Room needs to be made and having the relatively same roster again next season will only have us once again at the bottom. Time for change.

Bizarre stat.

Has any goalie ever been credited with an ENG against without giving up a goal while on the ice?

I agree with everything but girgs is worth at least a 3rd.

Bylsma
Talking to vesey exclusively for a month
Jamie mcginnis
Bowl u.

Those are recent 3rds. Hes above that range even

- Boss34

If it was the 93rd pick, maybe, but they'd owe me a favor.

Eichel current level. I think Eich's has another gear in him. Would help if we got Svech or Z. Eichel would get 50 assists alone next year.

Wilson is a RFA
- Powerslave

My bad
I thought he was older for some reason?
Oops

Well then...
just Nelson should be signed as far as our UFAs go

Maybe Josefson if we need a 13th forward

So, by all accounts, Dahlin, Svechnikov and Zadina are NHL ready. And with the "Buffaluck", we'll end up picking 4th. Is Tkachuk NHL ready?

Most of the analyst say Tkachuk is ready, maybe 2nd behind Dahlin. But he reminds me of Kane, big power forward, 20 goals on average, bit of a nasty side. Any team can use a guy like that, but I still want a 40 goal guy on Jack's win if we don't get Dahlin.

Gotta look at it as good hockey . The team IS capable of it .

Need to do it more often . Like every period every game . .

Been having faith they would do it since 1971.

He got 39 with these bums... give him a couple actual goal scores and he would have way more.

I'd rather have girgs than fasching. Would you?

Good call on the 2nd for gorges. Doesn't hurt as much

A favor like tmgm and his uncle?
A 5th round pick to not claim ullmark?
What type of favor?

I'm talking a pick under 63 for girgs

I think the opportunity to play at the World Championships against NHL players will be better for Casey's development then AHL Playoffs. With a full offseason to get stronger and a full training camp to get acclimated to systems and players I think Casey's floor is 50 points next season. Would not surprise me if he got between 55-65 points next year.

I don't want either. Never liked the Fasching deal, it was a head scratcher to me when it happened.

I'm sick of seeing low quality players on this roster. We have plenty of better options with low cap hits.

Bap, Bailey, Erod, Smith, Wilson, Pommers, O'Reagan, Malone, Porter, and maybe Asplund, Pu, Olofsson... are all better bottom 6 options than Girgs, Larsson, Nolan. Time to turn over the roster and ship non producing bums out.

Similar to Kane in the heavy aspect of the game but different styles i'd say. Kane drives the play when the puck is on his stick and he's successful when he's carrying it. TK is better at getting to the dirty areas of the ice and can play the give and go game much better then Kane did.

"Sabres center Ryan O'Reilly won 19 faceoffs in the game to break the all-time NHL record of 1,268 set by Carolina's Rod Brind'Amour in 2005-06. O'Reilly finished with 1,274."

2 pims on the year

60 points

3 consecutive 20-goal seasons.

But he's overpaid and we're gonna give Reinhart $5m a year

I'll agree. I haven't been able to watch too much of TK, but from what I saw that heavy powering his way to the net style reminds me of Kane. I do think TK also has a better ability to make plays and set guys up. I've never seen Kane make a pass that just wowed me.

He needs a goal scoring winger . Assists are a result of another finisher besides himself . This teams needs a few real bad .

Helluva season ladies and gents

While I agree that the playoffs are a bit of a longshot for the Sabres this season, they should be in the playoff mix well into March and hopefully into April as well. To do that they'll need to be on pace to finish in the 90-95 point range. That's where I had this team last year and that's what I think they have in them for the 2017-18 season.
