"Sabres center Ryan O'Reilly won 19 faceoffs in the game to break the all-time NHL record of 1,268 set by Carolina's Rod Brind'Amour in 2005-06. O'Reilly finished with 1,274."

2 pims on the year

60 points

3 consecutive 20-goal seasons.

But he's overpaid and we're gonna give Reinhart $5m a year

- jcragcrumple

Lebrun was on GR the other day on the ride home, and he said that gm's around the league covet him. He said there are gm's that have said to him, I wish we had a guy like Ryan O'Reilly.

I'll take the flogging for this, I don't care. He is so good. He is still underrated and criminally under appreciated by this fan base

If Botteril gives Reinhart 5 mil a season then don't bother watching this team. Reinhart would be a complimentary player on another team but for this team..no.

So, by all accounts, Dahlin, Svechnikov and Zadina are NHL ready. And with the "Buffaluck", we'll end up picking 4th. Is Tkachuk NHL ready?
- Powerslave

From what I’ve seen/read...
Tkachuk is likely ready physically,
but it wouldn’t hurt if he had some more time developing his skills before he jumps to the NHL

A favor like tmgm and his uncle?
A 5th round pick to not claim ullmark?
What type of favor?

I'm talking a pick under 63 for girgs

- Boss34

Something in that neighborhood, maybe not quite as much.

Potential is all fine and well, but results matter. And he hasn't produced any in 3 years. And has seemingly gotten worse every year.

I don't want either. Never liked the Fasching deal, it was a head scratcher to me when it happened.

I'm sick of seeing low quality players on this roster. We have plenty of better options with low cap hits.

Bap, Bailey, Erod, Smith, Wilson, Pommers, O'Reagan, Malone, Porter, and maybe Asplund, Pu, Olofsson... are all better bottom 6 options than Girgs, Larsson, Nolan. Time to turn over the roster and ship non producing bums out.

- sskkoo1

I agree, I'm just not giving talent away.

Yes talent= girgs

As with most draft picks. D men take longer . Would we have to wait 3-4 yrs for Dahlin to be a force . seems to be the norm.

Let him spend another year in college and allow him to be a force for Team USA at the WJC like Mittelstadt was this past season. That would be my advice for the team that drafts him whether its us or someone else

I guess that depends on what u mean by “force”
Dahlin might be our best defenseman as soon as he puts on the blue & gold

Seems reasonable to me
I’m just hoping it’s not us making that decision

5m doesn't bother me, as long as it's a bridge deal. A long term deal @ 5m doesn't make sense for either side.

I got ripped pretty hard bc i wanted to trade Girgs after he was drafted (for ROR)

Said Girgs would never be a 20goal scorer & that his upside was as a defensive 3C

I think he could still be a good 4th line guy
I’d rather Larsson moved before Girgs,
but only bc of the speed factor
Otherwise, i think Larsson is ok
But we need to make room for some of the kids
Time to see what they’ve got

Dahlin might not ever become Karlsson,
but I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t at least become Hedman

I don’t expect that right away,
but i do think he will be pretty damn good wherever he plays next year
Will most likely have some ups & downs for a few seasons, like any young player

I wanna win this lotto more than i wanted McDavid

E. Kane 29/25 = 54....$5,250,000
S. Reinhart 25/25 = 50.....$894,167 and is a useless bust who shouldn't get a raise.
.....I'd like to ask that all you Reinhart haters get a vasectomy before I have to live on this planet with more of your kind.
