E. Kane 29/25 = 54....$5,250,000
S. Reinhart 25/25 = 50.....$894,167 and is a useless bust who shouldn't get a raise.
.....I'd like to ask that all you Reinhart haters get a vasectomy before I have to live on this planet with more of your kind. - seedy
My boy is gonna get a 4 -5 year deal and will be an absolute beast on this team next year. |

There’s no chance Sam Reinhart gets within 2 mil of 7.5
I still think it’s a 1- year deal - sbroads24

That looks pretty accurate barring any trades or fa signings. Something like this could work as well
Erod- Eichel- ? (praying for Svech or Z)
Smith- ROR- Reinhart
Bailey-Mittelstadt-Okposo
Wilson-Malone-Pominville - Pegullaville
I like this and hope Botts doesn’t move the vets you got in the top 6. One of those two dynamos in the draft pan out with Jack would be enormous.
Rags fired AV. Wow, that is tempting. |

And no cups and now he's golfing, they aren't letting Housley go after 1 season. |

Seedy...watch him play. He was invisible for the first half of the season. Again, he is slow and rarely wins one on one battles. This is a contract year for him. - sabreadvocate1
This will be exactly Botterils negotiating point, which his agent will counter, and they will arrive at a market value, which half the people on this thread will b!tch about, regardless of what that amount or term will be.
He's 22 and has scored 20 goals 3 years in a row. He's the least of the Sabres problems. And im pretty sure this team isn't going to throw a dump truck of money at him. |

I know they are not letting Housley go after one year, and I wouldn't either. But I just think that all options should be open for "how do we get better". |

Letting Housley go isn't the way to get better, things will change but the changes that people keep posting about here with certain players isn't all going to happen either. |

He had 17 last year.
This is turning into the Evander Kane is a 30 goal scorer who never actually scores 30 goals, isn’t it?
I have really liked Reinhart’s turnaround, but he has almost 0 leverage. He’s still a very average top 6 forward who had just as atrocious first half of the season as he had a good second half |

I could have sworn i heard either on tv or WGR that he was a 3 year, 20 goal scorer. So, my bad.
The thing is, i dont think he's going to get an overly generous offer.
Botteril is going to point out to his agent that he has been inconsistent and that he doesnt deserve the money of a consistent player. He'll probably get paid market value and people will still complain.
He will either get better and demand a better contract or he wont. But up to this point, we have gotten plenty of production for his price. Regardless of what people think about him here, its all up to him to either earn it or not. |

I believe it was due to the fact he had 40 over the course of 2 years. He averages more than 20 goals per season, about 21 per 82 games including his 9 game tryout. |

If I’m Sam, I want a 1 year. Prove he can make an impact for an entire season.
There’s no way IMO he’s getting a giant deal right now |

There is 0 chance of 4 years. The Sabres would never consider it. |
