The Sedins embody some of the most Canadian qualities: Quiet spoken respect, perseverance and humility. If you think about Canadian icons versus American, we have deified Terry Fox, Rick Hansen and Gord Downie. All people with special commitments to struggle through adversity, not necessarily to be champions, but to be examples. The Sedins were exactly that, excellence by example. And while not Canadian by birth, they are exactly what I think the best of this country is about. Congrats to them on amazing careers and a big thanks to the Oilers team and fans for such a classy send off.

Otto Somppi still hasn't been signed by TB. Would go back in the draft if not signed by june 1st. Played with OJ back in 14-15 in Finland.

Sadly, looking at just that top list of popular buyouts. A bunch of those teams don't have much to offer by taking a bad contract. Except for Buffalo even then it would be a complicated trade probably.
