Alex Edler remains the only Gillis contract left and Benning apparently loves him.
This is pretty much 100% a Benning team next year. - Nucker101
No more excuses for the Benning apologists. |

Hopefully his wrist is fine. Glad he's not going. Rehab his injury(injuries?) and be healthy for training camp. - Nucker101
Didnt he have wrist surgery the year before? I wonder if its the same one, or the reason his hand was always taped |

Yeah, I totally agree.
“Safe work environment” doesn’t make sense if that guy will end up in the ECHL/AHL for most of his career. He won’t be playing with Pettersson and Boeser.
Mackenzie Stewart for example has yet to play with Horvat, Boeser or Stetcher. - Nucker101
Stewart was a very odd pick. Even Kyle Pettit. They had 1/3 as many points that season as players picked around them. Victor Olfosson Buffalo pick in the 7th round had 53 points in 44 games in the SuperElit(swedish junior league). 4 years later was almost a ppg in the SHL. He has a much better shot at the NHL then Canucks picked. |

Horvat playing for Team Canada at Worlds, Markstrom likely going too.
Personally, I'd like the Sedin's to go once more as well |

yeah, people always say "omg who cares all of these guys are longshots anyway"
but I'd rather draft a guy who at least has some decent skill instead of guys who are depth players on junior teams, most NHL depth/role players were legit top 6 forwards or top 4 dmen on their junior teams. |

If Bo's learned anything this season, it'll be to shoot on Markstrom within the first 2 minutes of the game. |

Just saw the clip and he was playing on the goal line then passed the puck to the side wall and moved infront of the net. I don't know how he got below the goal line in the first place though. - manvanfan
and people called him a defensive dman lol |

Brendan Gaunce, a ppg player in junior.
Guys like Brayden Point in the 3rd round. He had 96 points in his draft season. There is only 3 CHL players who are more then a ppg in this draft.
Jamie Benn had 65 in 53 in BCHL. Kerfoot had 69 in 51 games. Kerfoot justt put up 43 in 79 in the NHL.
The players that were drafted in later round. 90% of them didn't come out of nowhere.
It is very odd you find a player like Gaudette who is a .5 ppg and turns into a good NHLer (if he does). Like JB said though he was down the depth chart and just didn't have good luck but had good speed and good shot. |

?
Didn't Gaudette just get 60 pts in 38 games played in his final NCAA year?

Yes, he has been a horse Sedin's were just interviewed and the first name they mentioned when questioned about the future leadership group was "Sutty" I would really enjoy how angry this would make part of the fanbase.
edit: They foolishly took Juolevi off the ice and his team lost in OT UTICA? |

FlaPanthers Jared McCann led all FLA forwards with a GF% of 59.18 and a GA/60 of 1.53 at 5v5. Those are some impressive numbers...
