Perhaps. Perhaps not. I can't see much of a reason for them to leave to be honest. But who knows what they're thinking or what their offers will be. They're great complimentary, fast players. Sabres are so damn open for those kind of guys.

I liked his post TDL speech. I'm sure he can give us some nuggets to sit on until the draft. I think if he speaks with conviction and passion and gives us a rough idea of what to expect, it will help fans and media read between the lines, try to figure out what his plans are. One of the things I want to hear is "there will definitely be major roster turnover." And/or "some of these players will not be returning to the Sabres" I'm begging for him to mention culture.

A guy like Pouliot doesn’t make sense
Only makes sense bringing in a UFA is of its someone like JvR that’s gonna knock guys down the depth chart

Nylander continues down this path and has a strong summer, optimism for him will sky rocket. Mittelstadt needs a strong summer and camp to show he can not only produce, but be a game changer, or for you guys with a hard-on for this phrase, "move the needle"
