I think he's just saying what everyone wants to hear, but his hands are tied. Even if he wanted to move a lot of these guys, who would take them? - Sabresfan-365
O'Reilly has the reputation of a very good NHL player, and is 27.
I find it hard to believe he wouldn't draw interest |

There's lots of Tim Horton's out here in B.C. He'll feel like he is at home. |

it's a lockout proof bonus based contract, they're not easy to move. Even if you find a team interested, you'll likely have to take some kind of haircut. |

The team is heading into a fast paced team so mark down all the slow people and those are the ones that are likely going to go.. |

The Sabres are always hiring just go up to the security office ask for mark Preisler for a in person interview
You’ll be an intern for the summer and if you’re good you get hired for the season

While that's true, it's also slightly front loaded, which helps. With the cap going up and the likelihood that he'd be traded for someone with term and salary, it seems like there would be interest. Safe to say it would be for less than some people here would like....that's an easy prediction.

Then they will just keep him for one more season It’s not like this will strangle us forever they’re going to wait for a team that’s going to overpay after John Tavares signs with a different team

The JT runners-up are a great opportunity. They have the cap space and need. |

Would you take on Loui Eriksson's contract if it meant getting a massive haul out of the canucks or would you take a hit in trade value just to move on from the deal? |

That's a bridge too far. That deal looks worse than Okposo, just don't think you can go there. I'd take on a Pomminville or Legwand deal, but really I'm thinking more along the lines of a Scandella like deal coming back. A key piece of the deal, with term and salary.

That's where I'm at as well. It's tempting though, depending on what pieces you could get back.
