Apparently it’s a combination of 4PM local home games when the Leafs are here, TSN, Sportsnet, Don Cherry, Ron MacLean and the Leafs fanbase.

I’ve read that ratings are down on sports highlight shows, most people get their highlights/scores online so I’m surprised people continue to tune in to those shows or websites knowing that it’ll be Toronto getting the headlines.

Personally, I don’t really care about Toronto these days and I get a chuckle out of the posts here complaining about the coverage they get. I used to hate them when I watched TSN every night. There’s so much content available online these days to get your hockey news and highlights so I don’t get why people tune in just to get triggered.

hope JB makes some trades, especially on defense. and as you say, I'm expecting to be let down.

One of the hardest parts with following the playoffs, is all the blue jays crap thrown at us. I'm not much of a baseball fan, a little here and there is okay, working in the yard with a game on the radio is nice, but there is too much of the blue jays when you tune into any tv sports channel.

Liked the World Juniors and playing with that high end talent

Then the coach put him with Jordan greenway who had never played center before and they became a line.
(they probably expected Keller to return for a 2nd season)

Can play all over the lineup, and physicality is his favorite part.

He wasnt positioned down low on the Powerplay, but says his biggest strength is playing down low and retrieving pucks.

Honestly this team is softer now than it was back during the good days. There’s more skilled guys who are like 6 feet tall or and weigh like 190lbs or less on the team now than back then.

I remembering during the Sundin season, the Canucks has one of the bigger rosters in the league(height wise, not sure about weight).

We need some of the Flyers drafting mentality, drafting big, strong kids with skill.

The Canucks are finally doing it right after almost winning the cup 7 years ago. It took the Leafs forever to get Hockey people in their Front Office to finally change the fortunes. Rebuilding your team is the only way in the cap era. You need great drafting, high picks and lottery luck. The fans don't mind a rebuild, just don't deviate from the plan too quickly or the fans will wonder why they wanted to lose. IE Kessel trade 2009.
