I never said I would trade him for Hamilton. If you got me a young dynamic D I would do it. Sure, he is getting better.... I'd still do it in the right trade. - Slump Buster
I would try getting that D without moving Sam. We have a bunch of prospects and a few draft picks that might work. Have some young D coming in that will get even better. Might not have to go all in for him now.

Deal you like the family (frank)ing Fusion but you have to make me a drink when you go to your house and then I got to sleep on the carpet - gerbe75pts

Plus, if Taylor Hall gets you Adam Larsson, what does "half a season" Sam get you?
And I like Rhino. I just don't think GM's are going to throw high quality defensemen at us for him.

Same page . Could end up with another Bogo. That would really suck.

As a native Buffalonian, i never get my hopes up about anything sports related, but I think landing Dahlin would square up our D situation. We would still have lots to do at forward, but having guys slotted in to their appropriate defensive spots next year would help out a lot.

I mean, the fact alone that he played in the bump'n'run, running back-era, pre-tuck rule, QB's weren't protected or as athletic-era and still put up the numbers he did is insane.
It's not even debatable. - BeadyEyedDouche
You act like no on else had 1,000 yards.
Even back in 1990 there were over 10 WR’s with 1000 and Rice was the leader by about 200.
He in no way shape or form dominated like Gretzky did in hockey
