The Kane trades are not among the top 10 worst in NHL history. You're giving a man who is finally having a career year way too much credit.

Myers is the benefactor of not having to be "the man". And, he's come close to his first two years in the league only once, and that was this year.


Hasek trades should be near the top of best and worst ever.

Most of these trade proposals we “should listen to” are wildly unrealistic

For example:
Arizona trades us OEL + #2 for Dahlin
Why wouldn’t they just keep OEL and draft Svech or Zadina?!
Or if it’s Carolina...
they’re already deep in defense & need forward help
So why the hell would they trade for another defenseman, and give up a defenseman to do so, when they could sit still and just take the forward that they need?!
And a trade with Ottawa doesn’t make sense either
Karlsson for Dahlin doesn’t make sense for us- we're taking the guy 9yrs younger
And it wouldn’t make sense for Ottawa to add the #2 pick
They could stay & take a forward, then trade Karlsson separately for a ton

Maybe if there was a REASONABLE deal posted that would work for BOTH sides...
then it wouldn’t be met with such disdain

If someone wants to make us a crazy offer,
then of course u consider it
