156 receiving TD’s for Moss. 2nd all time and stopped playing full time at 33.
TO and Rice played 5-7 years more.
Moss is the goat 🐐 - sbroads24
If Moss and Rice played the same amount of games the only statistic that Moss beats Rice in is TD’s and it’s by two hands (10 or 11).
Rice has more yards (over 1100) and more catches (over 100)...in an era where the rules were against him. If you’re going by the amount of games Moss played as the same for Rice.
I’m not saying Moss isn’t great, but he’s not the goat. That’s Rice hands down. |

Young and Montana >> Culpepper, Cunningham at 35 years old.
Look at Cunningham’s season he had Moss’s rookie year. Career best at 35, when Moss was a rookie.
I love Rice, and he’s of course an all-time great, but if I’m starting a team, I’m taking Randy all day long.
His two years in Oakland set him back |

Rice put up over 1800 yards in 1995. When it was still a running league.
Put Rice in this era where the QBs and WRs are protected like Brady is and that 1800 could be over 2000.
There wasn’t a better route runner or a more tougher WR than Jerry Rice.
Put Moss in the early 90’s and he puts up good even great numbers but he doesn’t make it out of a full season alive. |

In 95 there were 4 guys with over 4,000 yards passing. 10 WR’s over 1300 yards
Back then they didn’t spread the ball around like they do today.
#1 receivers dominated more back then

It’s more of a passing league today, but it’s because RB’s and TE’s catch the ball more than they ever have |

Rice is better then moss, no doubt. But come on, Moss was superior to these guys. Moss was unstoppable for a time even when teams tried stopping him. These other guys were good but had no where near the impact moss had. In a one game playoff in their prime, your taking moss over any of these guys, and it’s not even close. |

Link? I didn't think it was, the only conditions were Cup or him signing was 2019 1st or if it's the 2nd the Sharks can push it to 2020 if they want to. |

Rice took a beating over the middle.
Sorry but when it comes to best player of all time, he’s right up there. Moss is never mentioned. - dadeadhead
So happy I got to see Rice become the G.O.A.T. when he scored his 127th td on MNF. Still got the Beckett with it on the cover. |

Garf posted a fairly interesting scenario: would you trade Reinhart for Dougie Hamilton? I haven't seen much of him the last couple of years. Like our team, something is fundamentally wrong with them. |

Essentialy they get a lottery protectedfirst round pick in 2019 if SJS wins the cup or Kane resigns. If San Jose sucks next year the first gets pushed to 2020. San Jose also has a condition on the 4th rounder in 2019. If they so choose they can defer that to 2020 as well but then it becomes a 3rd instead of a 4th |

No, keeping Reinhart is a smart move |

Maybe. I'd still move him for a slightly better defenseman. |

I cannot believe anyone is questioning Rice as the greatest receiver ever.
It's not even close, there's a huge gap between Rice and anyone else and then the conversation for 2nd best all-time starts with Moss, Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson. |

I think a lot of people never saw football in the 80's and thus can't comprehend just how dominant he was. |

If they win the lottery, they should at least entertain calls about trading down to 2 or 3 and picking up a d man in the process - jcragcrumple
Holy crap, a mo th ago I expressed the exact sentiment and was widely ridiculed for it. All I heard beyond various insults was the following sentiment “Easy, Daklin, no question”
YES! of course you listen...
And you listen real good about what is needed so you can redirect the trade to be about ROR, Reinhart, Risto...
Jesus Christ!, the friggin’ Waco-CaliVegiRoasting-Cook is up for trade these days with Botterill showing public distaste for all things /Spanish/Mexican in basis! |
