Urologist says only one thing to do.

Drink at least 3L every day. More if you sweat a lot from work or exercise.

He says you do that, you should be fine.

Thanks man. After hearing about what some of you guys are going through, I'm going to really work on having more water each day. This is some horrifying stuff. Sorry some of you have/are dealing with this stuff.

Sorry guys about all this guys but at least people can relate to what some are going through with these damn stones.
- LeafMan

Agreed. There are things I wish to add and encourage people here but I understand everything I would say would be taken with suspicion... But I hope all gets better soon.

Don't they say living well is the best revenge!

It is, and actually you know going through this process of being in a relationship with someone who got way out of hand with drinking was heartbreaking but made me totally improve my own lifestyle, get counseling, reconnect with family and friends and new healthier friends. I joked around on here a lot about partying but the dark side is for real. I'm still recovering emotionally but glad I'm not hooked on booze man, seriously bad news if you're dependent on it.

I haven't and hope I don't have to go through what you guys are illustrating. Gez.

My father in law had a stone and passed out form pain and had to go to er, but never had to do all that stuff.

We need to send some of these pages to the Leafs. They can dedicate the next game to all of us, (and maybe Kadri?) and hopefully will come out much more motivated to get the win.

Seriously though, if they just use their speed advantage, they can beat this Bruins team. Just gotta play to their full potential as soon as the puck drops.

I sure hope Babcock knows what he's doing putting Komarov on the top line.
Of all the ways to reorganize the lines, he seems to have picked the one most likely to irritate most fans on here.

For stones, cranberry juice and ice tea is not good for prevention or after the fact.

Cranberry juice is good for bladder infection.

Correct. During is good . tastes better than water . Jogging helped me pass them. But they were 1/2 the size of a BB. Still hurt enough to puke when they started moving .

They really seemed to be able to regroup after losses and when losing personnel throughout the season, and Babcock has made adjustments that worked before.

I'm betting AM34 goes on a rampage, and a big veteran game from Marleau. They're not gonna contain Marner either.

i think you are probably fortunate in that you have a low or no genetic component to alcohol addiction. I feel for people who do.

I could go on daily drunks for weeks in my younger days and then just decide I didn't feel like it all of a sudden.

If you can drop it that easily you'll always have the ability to control that addiction

I bought Gatorade powder and mixed in a bit to add some flavour, just so much water you can drink before it gets boring or sick of it.

Yeah, it gets pretty bad. I went about a year straight getting blackout drunk every night. I've cut back on that poop now, though.

actually i don't think that is even true. If you drank a lot of actual cranberry juice it may help avoid future bladder infection. it doesnt help one you have one.

For stones, I also keep hearing lemon juice, pretty much for the ascorbic acid

Yep, it's that 'switch'. True alcoholics can never have just one, and can never tie one on and then drop it for a week. If you're like that, basically you can never have a drink ever again. My ex was at the point where she would be having en bloc blackouts on a regular basis, worked constantly but maxed out her credit at bars...still hasn't admitted she can either stop, or eventually die from it.

Lots of wives tales.
Drink lots of fluids you like . and let it flow . Shots are not enough fluid ratio. Beers worked great for me
