On the u17 D ya. There is quite a few 17 year olds that played on the u18 squad, that aren't eligible till next season. USA kids are going to catch up to Canadian kids in the not to distant future.

It had more to do with my discussion with Manvan and second round picks. I think Lind could be an NHLer but you just never know for sure how a player will turn out. I personally doubt Gadj and Lind are both part of this core in 5 years. I could be wrong but I expect after this upcoming draft we will have 6 more cant miss prospects that will be penciled in for the 2020 roster

Our "core"needs to stay small like most successful teams. Outside of a few forwards, couple dmen, and our starter every player should always be available. If they are going to get a big contract soon, trade em. Chicago did it well for a time, but messed up with Seabrook.

fair point. Flyers have three good players and poopty goaltending vs the Pens two generational players, fantastic goaltending and five good players.
