Don't agree on any of those. #32 overall has good value.

Players in Caps are new from last year’s starting lineup

E ROD - Eichel - Okposo
WILSON - O’Reilly - Reinhart
NYLANDER - MITTELSTADT - Pominville
BAILEY - O’REGAN - BAPTISTE

DAHLIN - Ristolainen
Scandella - Bogosian/McCabe
GUHLE - NELSON
Antipin

ULLMARK
(FA GOALIE)

I realize that there’s still holes there,
and that that lineup isn’t ideal

But that is SIGNIFICANT change imo

Brings A LOT of SPEED into the lineup
And enough skill where we can actually hope to see lines 3 & 4 scoring regularly

Plus,
Our goaltending was so mediocre last year that i think we can assume whatever tandem we go with next year will be better

Not a FINISHED PRODUCT
But moving in the right direction

- jdfitz77

IMO Bailey is the wild card in hopes he works out.

That's basically saying he's worth a mid/late first, I don't see it. He was pretty bad this year.

for a while there he was one of our better defensemen at even strength.

The way the D market is, i could see a cost controlled young d-man like him bring back multiple seconds or a late first.

I like Baptiste too
How high in the lineup they can climb depends on how much their goal scoring can translate to the NHL

They both have some decent scoring ability
Both are fast
At the very least,
I think they can be good role players for us

IMO that lineup you posted does not get us into the playoffs , just my opinion.

Toronto handed a PP goal on a phantom delay of game.

$10 says the refs make sure it’s even pretty soon

U can do it on your own

Just get a frozen turkey breast instead of making the whole thing
They’re pretty easy to cook

I’m sure u can figure out how to make mashed potatoes & gravy

Veggies I’m sure you’re good with

It’s actually not a hard meal to whip up

Thing is though, is all of Boston’s best players are excellent skaters

Pastrnak
Bergeron
Marchand
McAvoy
Nash

The exception is Chara, who’s a HOF’er.

Boston can still skate with the best of them

- sbroads24

Kuraly, Nash, Heinan, Krejci, chara, K.Miller, Holden, Backes. That’s almost half your FWD and D corps. Everyone else on that team can skate, no question. But to say Chara is the expception is wrong.

Chara is the only one who’s relied on heavily that can’t skate.

There core and best players can

They have to be more consistent, improve defensively, and stay healthy. I still cringe at the thought of counting on them both in the lineup.

Most of those guys get lower end minutes so their speed (or lack thereof) doesn't really hurt the team
