I agree. Would love to see him play with a little more nasty and snarl though. He has the frame -and I think the mentality too - but he needs to be a bit more of a pest - jcragcrumple
i'll take him at his word that just playing a full season after what he went through was a triumph |

Playing on the 1st PP is a 20'ish point per season privilege that Okposo may lose next season. He could easily play better next season and put up fewer points. I'd be fine with that.
I think it's interesting to contrast his interviews with RoR (all season, not just the clean out). Kyle has a way of presenting himself better, even when they say very similar things. - Lunaion
he's seen this movie before as well when he was with the islanders...he said it took a few years for it to click for them before they made the playoffs |

6 mill a year, 15 goals and 44 points, where will we ever find that to replace. - SABRES 89
yeah, he's overpaid...but you're acting like it was a normal season for him...he was in icu wondering if he'd ever play hockey again, didn't have a full summer of training, and looked like he was playing cautiously at the beginning of the season...plus, the team around him was a train wreck |

just curious, which are the fastest teams in the nhl? |

Little context here. These are all NCAA signees to finish the season with their clubs. Middlingstats already drives possession for his level of opposing competition. - TheSabresTaco
wow....I used to see that stuff back when, only it was at night, and the record player had six carefully selected records on it...the ashtray was close by next to a frosty adult beverage along with a lighter and various things to light...
for the next few hours....

I'm curious as to why you won't let this go.
You've asked several questions in the last week or so in particular about team speed, playing fast, etc.
What are you getting at Pach? |

My last comment may have been a tad harsh. I apologize.
But before you fixed it, it read:
"That be ridiculous holy poop.
And you Fuller"
It's devoid of verbs, or at least any correct verbs. It was confusing

NJ has lots of speed demons but the problem is they don't have the experience to up their game to the next level in my opinion "yet"

never noticed that...
just curious, everyone talks team speed, and I get that, however, is every player on those teams fast?...just like defensemen, is every d-man a mobile puck-mover? |

I thought during his call ups he looked like he could become a quality bottom 6 (probably 4th line) player in the NHL. Strong along the boards, his skating improved...was this just the groin injury ruining him or you think he was a bust from the get go? - RhinoFan
I think the groin injury really hurt him both physically and mentally.
I was at his first NHL game and saw his goal. I was so excited after that because he seemed like a great bottom 6 power forward high energy player. |
