Vegas still shocking the world but man was it nice to see the Queens get swept...a lot of jackasses on that club via Brown and Doughy...

San Jose better take care of business tonight too, I wouldn't like their chances if they go 6 or 7 against Anaheim and then have to take on a well rested Vegas team that's fast and comes at you in waves and has a hot goaltender.

Kings don't have bad contracts anymore but they seem to be heading the other way , maybe just getting old. I don't think they should go long term with Doughty , they need a rebuild.

Fluery is playing like he drank from the fountain of youth and my confidence in Jones isn’t that high.

They're big and slow when most of the league has gone smaller and faster and more skilled. Beyond Kopitar and Doughty, they really don't have much skill in their lineup and Vegas made them look much slower than maybe they are. It didn't help that Fleury was super hot in that series. Had Quick not been as good it might not have been that close score-wise and it would have been even more apparent that the Kings were outclassed.

He is at the top of the league for a defence man you don’t give up on that. Like him or hate him I would take him on my team any day of the week.

Brown ended with 61 pts 28 g . That is better than any Canuck. Quick was a huge problem this year . He was horrible most nights

I would trade him for a boatload . This team is getting old fast . He will be 29 yrs old and wanting a 8 x 10 contract .

Boeser scored one more goal, but I concede the point, I think Quick had a couple of injuries this year which might have accounted for some of his bad year. That said, LA, Anaheim and SJ are all due for a rebuild.

I'm sure Doughy sees whats happening in LA. He'll want term and cash on a contender.

He came out and stated there won't be a discount contract . He said him and Karlsson should look at maximum contracts.

LA Kings are now the 2012 Playoff Canucks and in two years will be looking to dump contracts. They don't have many prospects and should be looking to fill that sooner than later.

Personally, if I was going to go after one of those two, I'd pick Karlsson, younger and still has a bit of upside. I'd rather pay him max dollars than Doughty who's looking like he's trending downwards fast.

Was just thinking the same thing but really if Van was going to look at D OEL would probably be the best bet. I would like John Carlson here but he's gonna want 7X7...don't need that here right now.

I still think DD has a lot left but he hates Canucks and I want no part of his fat ass in our locker room but EK I would hope we go hard after him or OEL

OEL and Dahlin

Wouldn't that be something plus Pettersson.

I'm with you I'm a no go on Doughy. Great Dman but a f-u-c-k-ing tool don't want him in the locker room.

OEL would be nice, but I don't think he wants to leave Arizona and Arizona wouldn't let him walk for free, Karlsson at least would only cost money (and be worth it).

I am really curious to see Pettersson and Dahlen together next year. I know I should cool my expectations but I got a feeling (Black Eyed Peas)
