We go round and round about half the players in the league. You and I have completely different opinions. It isn't worth it to talk about it anymore. You have your opinion, I have mine. We're cool. - manvanfan
Do you only like to talk hockey with people who have the same opinions
I respect your opinion, if when I disagree with you it seems like I don't (cause I do get carried away, but don't think I did here) than I apologize. I learn lots from reading from posters on here, keeps me up to date on the team and lots of players. |

I enjoy most days, a good argument. Allows me to explain why I feel that way.
You didn't get carried away. I don't mind if you do. I'm a passionate person. I think if you aren't passionate about something, you don't really care all that much about it. You are probably the same way.
It just doesn't work between us. (especially on Dmen) |

Who's your choice for Norris?
Hedman for me, Doughty is right there also. |

someone on the radio said they felt Leaves would win game 3. I just don't see how they are going to shut down that top line |

I don't think Minny had much of a chance after the first 2 games. They won game 3 handily. |

Myers out is a pretty significant chunk for Peg, little bit underrated. |

I would agree there. If I had to pick a 3rd. Burns had a quiet season but at the same time he was big to keep SJ competitive. |

After all that
Ya I think Hedman has earned it this year, such a good shut down guy and now is on another level scoring wise. |

I thought the Wild were in both games (second one fell apart a bit late), but their style was a better matchup for the Jets. Without Kadri the Leaves have Pleck playing 2nd line C. I guess if they can get their offence going maybe they could win 6-5? |

We aren't comparing the young anymore. Legit proven players now, harder to dispute the best of the best. |

I think it's Hedman's to lose. Doughty is definitely in contention |

Parity between teams seems to be less and less almost every year. I like that a team can win on any given night, especially in the playoffs. Colorado giving Nashville all they can handle. |

I'm pretty sure we disagreed last year, you are bigger on Karlsson than me if my memory serves me correctly. |

I came across an article (probably not overly accurate) that lists potential landing spots for Tavares – San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, Vegas Golden Knights, Detroit Red Wings and Vancouver Canucks.
Places that Tavares won’t go – Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers.
Personally I don't think he leaves the Islanders and if he did I don't think we would be his top choice - unless we grossly overpay.
Thoughts? - 93Nucks

norris is a regular season trophy and Hedman was better overall than both Burns and Karlsson. Karlsson is getting better defensively but is not in the same class as Doughty/Hedman. I guess we both agree it shouldn't have been Burns, that guy is a serious liability in his own end. |
