That was a bad over the glass call on the Bruins, but it did not change the game. Bruins had it tied up twice and both times the Leafs pulled ahead. If time is going to be spent questioning the performance of the officials last night, then the offset to the over the glass call is the non-call on McAvoy's blatant slew foot.
Leafs are still capable of playing a better game......and they will need do if they want to win....especially in Boston. |

Are we going to have a child every time Marchand does a thing? He's a rat. Get help accepting what you can't control or you could just focus on your upcoming tee times. You know start cleaning up the sticks, maybe hit the range and get loose. - glove_was_stuck
So what you are saying is Marchand is allowed to do "things" because he is who he is? Like baseball swing at a guy because they guy gave him a shot for taking a shot after the whistle already went? Or right before that he just happend to "trip" and drive his knee into the shin/ankle area of Johnsson? Those kinds of things? So if Kadri baseball swung at Krug or "tripped" at (insert player here) and took out his ankle, you would be ok with it and pass it off as "thing"? |

I know Toronto (fans) are probably back to their confidence level prior to game 1, but wasn't overly impressed by their win nor am I overly worried about the bruins losing. - highstick87
Neah, most of us thought the game could've went either way. Then again, Boston had horseshoes up its ass in the first 2 games, so some luck was due on the Leafs side.
Only thing thats certain is that unlike the Leafs playing for 5-10 minutes out of 60, in the first 2 games, they finally played for 60 minutes this time around. Win or lose, effort matters. |

Complaints on top of complaints, even while victorious. |

Loved when the crowd went nuts thinking he got crunched into the boards, but actually used it to his advantage by ducking and then juked Zaitsev out of his skates. - highstick87
He didn't juke Zaitsev.......Zaitsev's like warm butter when it comes to D. |

Some pretty lame statements by bruin fans.... ""We lost but we had our chances", they were lucky, blah blah blah blah...
I think the leafs have had a lot of bad luck thus far... missed breakaways, posts, cross bars, horrible one sided officiating against them, cheap bruin goals, etc.... Leafs have a much younger, much more skilled lineup, however they don't have the experience... Give them time... Right now its boys against men. But to actually read some of these pathetic boston fan posts is brutal... - jacksonNYR
Thank you. To say that the Leafs got lucky last night but then ignore that every break went Boston's way in games 1 and 2 is ridiculous. I'm not saying that Toronto is going to win the series, or that they're the better team, but they're much better than what they showed in the first two games. They couldn't buy a goal in Boston (despite some great chances), they got penalized into oblivion, they had awful goaltending. With a little swing in luck and steady play from Andersen these teams are a lot closer than people think. |

5 on 5 was a little questionable from the bruins last night. Didn't love how standoffish they were with their dmen on the points, at times looked like they were on the PK, just creates more traffic for Rask to deal with. |

I saw many, many experts picking Toronto, not really breaking news. |

Listening to people talk after game 2 though, you'd think it was a 1 seed vs an 8 seed. I just think there's some people who would do well to realize that nothing went right for Toronto in the first two games and that wasn't likely to continue. If Toronto can pull even on Thursday, Kadri returns, suddenly it's a whole new series. |

Well Kadri returns either way, either 2-2 with 2 left in boston or 3-1 with 2 left in boston. |

True, but if it's 3-1 it's probably too late to matter. Thursday is basically a game 7 for the Leafs. |

I watched it, Refs gave you a penalty in error. How many PP did they get ripped off over the first 3 games. The league removed their top defensive centerman for 3 games in a play off series. think about it , that's absurd, meanwhile they didn't even penalize the bruin who elbowed the kid in the head..
Kadri deserved 3 games, period. Yankee fan too I bet....... |

What are you even reading? Move along. Bruins missed some big opportunities and the Leafs finished theirs. Still out shot them in their own building. Freddy stole that game. |

The Leafs had at least two posts and a breakaway with a bobbling puck. It's not like they didn't have some big opportunities that they didn't finish on. |

I've always thought that the path to victory for the Leafs is winning all of their home games, and stealing one in Boston.
And I stand by that statement!
Gonna be a doozy on Thursday. I'm going to be leaving the office around 3 pm - I dare anyone here to try to stop me. |

IF there's a game 7 in Boston it means the Leafs have the Bruins on their heels and I like their chances. |

The Leafs had to be close to perfect and they needed the Bruins to hit posts and whiff on a few. Not looking too good for you guys. |

Bruins are still in the drivers seat obviously, but leafs still have another gear. They haven’t played their best hockey yet.
If leafs get back to 2-2 I think they have the edge with getting kadri back. |
