What's your primary concern? Too little value for Risto?

Your book sucks.

Personal feelings aside, he was a very good goalie. Nothing more, nothing less.

Had ONE season where his numbers were great. But they weren't elite numbers.

I remember being laughed at for saying Winnipeg and Toronto would be the two best Canadian teams this year.

I'd have to wait until the lottery. I would not reject it outright.

That's what I thought as well.
Depends on the position of the pick.

longevity with 1 team does not equate to greatness IMO

8 seasons as an average goalie and an unreal season up to the olympics is a good goalie after hasek era, but biron had similar nhl numbers and played on a few really bad teams

Leon Drivewaysitle or Left Defensemen?

Is this your sly attempt to try an pry the Risto from the Hall trade and dumping Larsson on us?

So realistically, where does O’Reilly rank right now among NHL centers?

Where does Ristolainen rank among D men?

Can either say they are top 35-40 right now?

Assuming LD = Leon Draisaitl...

We need to dump salary, not add it.

And the 2018 1st part seemed like a troll, honestly.

Backup goalies stats are always much better than they should be, than they would be if they were starters. They get all the plum matchups. Scott Darling had awesome numbers in Chicago as a backup, in Carolina as the starter? Not so much. Same with Talbot and Andersen.

This has NOTHING to do with Biron's numbers as a starter in the NHL.

Do they though? Don’t most backups get the 2nd of back to backs most of the time?

Plus they never get a chance barring injury to get in a groove

It could theoretically be as low as 12. It's not likely, but it is a possibility, that's just too low.

Just look at backup goalies numbers. They're(almost) always higher than they should be. Especially once they become starters and their numbers tank.

Yes, when their team is gassed from 2 nights in a row and defensively susceptible.
