We shoulda re-routed Gallant's plane out of Florida straight to Buffalo, offered him a contract and sent DD to the curb. Instead we ended up with a rookie coach who, in his first season, seemed over his head (not a short joke) at times. I believe Housely set our "rebuild" or whatever it's called back a couple years.

I never have gotten the Housley hate at all, I mean you watch the games, when the players actually play the system the coach wants, a good performance usually follows.
You could have a coaching staff of bowman and babcock, if the players wont play the way they are told, no coach will have success. I agree that he went through growing pains early on but again his first year as a coach, that would almost be expected.
I cant see how his coaching style affects the terrible players we have on the roster. Cant make chicken salad out of chicken crap.

So did Rasmus only play the system vs. Division opponents? Otherwise he was a coach killer, not playing the system.

These 2 coaches:
Bylsma and phil both suck. But everyone is a professional and has to listen to some dumb system that works against teams with their back up and teams that overlook the crappy sabres
