NESN's Doug Kyed reports the Patriots have "expressed interest" in UCLA QB Josh Rosen.
It's a virtual lock the Patriots are going to use of their four first- and second-round picks -- or package multiple together -- to pick a passer, and Rosen seems to be the one falling the most in recent mock drafts. He's no sure thing to go in the top 10, but Rosen should be off the board in the top half of the first round. New England would have to move up for Rosen, and it holds the Nos. 23, 31, 43, and 63 overall picks in rounds one and two. - SABRES 89

I never have gotten the Housley hate at all, I mean you watch the games, when the players actually play the system the coach wants, a good performance usually follows.
You could have a coaching staff of bowman and babcock, if the players wont play the way they are told, no coach will have success. I agree that he went through growing pains early on but again his first year as a coach, that would almost be expected.
I cant see how his coaching style affects the terrible players we have on the roster. Cant make chicken salad out of chicken crap. - Sabres1523
Great coaches tailor their systems around their players, at least to some extent. I was at the Jersey game really early in the year and our D was a poopshow, the whole team was disorganized, and we got shellacked.
Two months later the same type of game was trying to be played, we were still getting shellacked, the D was still a poopshow. By December we are out of the playoffs and 31st. No improvement=coach not adjusting.
Gallant takes Fla to the playoffs with a decent (not great) roster and gets fired the next year mid-season. A year later he's coaching a bunch of nobodies in the playoffs, sweeping the Kings. Was he playing the same system? I don't know, but Gallant sureaspoop did not need 4 months to acclimate to his new team, nor did he get where he is now by shoving a system down players' throats that they don't have the personnell for in the first place.
And "growing pains early on"??? How about the whole year? 11 wins at home? |

NFL Draft 2018
@Draftmockscout
TRADE NEWS: The Buffalo Bills and New York Giants have engaged in talks centered around the #2 pick. From source, Giants would receive “—LeSean McCoy, (Nate) Peterman, (draft picks) 2 1’s (12,22) and 2 2’s (53,56)”. The draft has gotten even more interesting.. - gerbe75pts
Giants win the draft if thats the case. |

More
Wild stat. Fred Jackson rushed for more yards during his one day contract with the #Bills, than Reggie Bush in his entire 2016 season.

Massive Over payment .No quarterback in this draft is that valuable. The Franchise needs to fill other holes as well . All for moving up for the right player . Just not for that kind of over payment Players move all over the CFL by the way. Flutie actually spent time with 3 Franchises , . Calgary , BC and Toronto. CFL fans deal with lots of player movement.

It all comes down to what you value the #1 next year to be.
Also, McCoy is about the last big contract on the books. It wouldn't shock me if they were ok giving him up. |

I think what sold it for the Giants was Peterman. They must want a ton of picks |

I guess you'd call me a "supporter". He's an average goalie. I don't know why a team like the Flyers did not take a run at him. |

Good question. My best guess would be Brian Elliot but I don't know if he was actually the #1 at the time. |

That makes sense
But it’s gonna leave our new franchise QB without a legit RB to take pressure off
And it’s now like we have the best pass catching weapons either
I feel like it’s setting him up to fail
Unless we are gonna start McCarron for a year |

I really hope we do start mccarron this year no matter who gets drafted. Was never a fan of throwing rookie qbs to the wolves. |

If it means keeping next year's #1 then you regretfully trade McCoy

Elliott walked as a UFA
And I’m not sure the exact breakdown,
but he was splitting time with Allen at that point
He was their starter in the playoffs that year though if i remember right |
