I think the point that some of us are saying is it is important to surround guys like OJ Lind Gadjovich and other new prospects a winning environment . They have very little to do with the Canucks . They are very good AHL players though. They make Comets competitive.

The Nass is suffering one terrible return after another for sockeye. It can't support the sport fishery the last few seasons. I'd suggest people stick with the Skeena for sockeye for the conservation more than anything. It's had had low returns for 2 seasons but there is usually enough in even a bad year for the sustenance fishery and then a small opening for sport/kill fishery at the very least.

(frank) yeah, the Tseax is something special. All the runs are on their own timing... literally extending all the seasons when you are in the Terrace area. When Springs, Coho and Steelhead are winding down in the Skeena system,,, the chromers are just showing up at the Tseax. You can get chrome Northerns til Mid Dec there. Fresh springs in the early fall... Steelhead after all the fall runs have winded down.

Not a fly fishing river. All old growth and volcano lava. In fact, it's the site of Canada's biggest death toll to natural causes when the volcano erupted and killed thousands in that valley pre-white settlers. Its a incredible place.

It has good coho and chum runs but it's crowded rif raffy and the thieves are brutal on the campers and parked trucks around there. I fish the Skeena a lot and some times there is a gap in the run so the Kitimat is always 45 min away for a look. Two days later we return to the Skeena and a new push of fish will be moving through.

The Tseax is a trib of the Nass. It's really something special. Narrow deep emerald green pools cutting through the old lava flows... each species is exceptionally large and late running. Great river for a float and level wind. I pity the people fishing center pins there. There always seems to be big willing springs around even when you are after Coho.
