Chaput had 17 G and 42 pts in 55 games . Love him or hate him he is a safety net for Canucks/ Comets
- VANTEL

I actually like him. Better than Gaunce imo.

Exactly

Canucks are in a situation though when a forward went down they would call up Boucher or Goldobin and move Granlund to center so Chaput was the third call up .

- VANTEL

They had to call up Boucher too at least see if he can provide anything at the nhl level...he cant.

I don't care what Nucker says Gaunce is running out of time and room

Both? I thought Megna Chaput was a player. Finnish winger, no?

Boucher is a good AHL player . Sign him to one way contract (NHL min salary) for Comets same with Chaput

I like guance as a career 4th liner.
I think hes doubled his goal output every year.
I'm thinking that in 5 years time he should be good for 64 goals per.

I'm here to please.

I know we have limited topics to discuss but I'm hoping the significance of our AHL fodder will become a thing of the past soon.

I have Veleno at 6. HE is fast and creates space. He can score and pass. Well balanced kid. Unless one of the top five drop out I have him at six. I doubt we get any closer than that.

We could talk about Barbra Bush's passing or that idiot girl that tried to smuggle cocaine into Australia but as far as Canuck news there is d1ck all to talk about

He is solid defensively but I would agree with the previous post that he is running out of time. Even Dorsett eventually started scoring...Gaunce has to figure it out quickly.

I have him at 9. He is going to be a very good player for whoever gets him.

I know, but with the twins retiring it gives our team unlimited opportunities to really change the culture and personality of this club. I hoping that all the spare-part players we have now become insignificant by the time training camp rolls around.

The roster may be so beautiful we might be left speechless.

This.

Lots of good talent coming in to the forward group next year at camp.

More development for Demko and get the Defense here shored up.

It has all been said before . Tavares Carlson Karlsson OEL but most of it won't happen. We still have 17 forwards fighting for 13 spots, and 9 Dmen fighting for 7 and 3 back up goalies.

Nothing much will change until we find our draft order and trades are made in 2 months . Until then it is Chaput v Gaunce

I'm hoping but maybe the boys are right; we should keep an eye on Chaput and Magna because they may play an important role next season. If true, then it's just another example of management's inabilities to cobble together a discernible plan to get this club into competitive shape.

Here's to 2020-21!

I think your Barbara Bush topic suggestion is looking better and better.

I think the point that some of us are saying is it is important to surround guys like OJ Lind Gadjovich and other new prospects a winning environment . They have very little to do with the Canucks . They are very good AHL players though. They make Comets competitive.

I agree about the Canucks I would like to see a huge change too but the President said a few weeks back Don't expect us to go all in on free agents.
\
I want trades .
