I agree, however, there's presently a TON of guys under contract already, I'd like them to go after a guy like Speeza and give Pettersson a year on the wing in the NHL to adjust.

In the process they also get a good draft pick for taking on that contract. To me that's all I'd like to see. Be nice to sign Tavares and Evander Kane but that's wishful thinking on my part.

You need to have value to be trade bait. Selling low on him would be a mistake. He's a out 7D next year and hope he plays himself back to being relevant.

Green would help us a lot on the powerplay, as long as he didn't need a NTC of any kind I would sign him for sure. Lots of potential for him to turn into a solid tdl guy. Problem is he likely wants to win.

If we slide all the way to 9th, depending on which dmen are taken I'd be prett ydown with picking Joe Voleno. Didn't make too much noise until this year, best Center in the draft IMO.
