Pettersson will be the best player in the draft by far once he figures out the NHL game. He's got all-world skill and talent and he's doing it as an 18 year old in a league that's barely a step below the AHL and against men much older than him and dominating.

Huh... i have been accused of being a swede hater, although i admit i am not high on Swedish forwards, and have seen many instances when people make these accusations.
I was making a comment in general, as i visit different sites and generally observe this trend on all of them.

I think the Flyers might lose this one, just a hunch. Defence and goaltending looks much better than it did four years ago, now Hextall needs to work on the forwards.

Benning did the opposite, he's put together a decent group of forward prospects but the backend needs some attention.

The forwards gave up 5 goals tonight. Vegas showing everyone top notch D means nothing. Pitt last season won without a legit #1 D man. Goaltending and team defence.

I think Sutter is going to step up this year as a team leader . I expect better things from him and the rest of the team . Before it was the Sedins team and players let them do the leading . I want to see who steps up now.

Very possible. I've liked Sutter from day 1 but I seriously hope he does not get the 'C'. If he does, to me...that's a pretty strong sign the team is headed in the wrong direction. I don't think we will see more than 40 points out of Sutter as that is where he seems to cap out at...but you never know maybe he has a 20 goal/50 point season in him. With the Sedins gone the future and the kids are now. I'm ok with going with three 'A's for this next season but it's clear that this should be Horvat's team. Hopefully he has the 'C' soon.
