People are going to be surprised in Zadina's skating in a poor way. He's one of the slower skaters in this upper class. His test results on this were pretty bad for a top prospect. I forget who his comparibles were but it wasnt impressive at all.

Van can't really afford to trade down from a player with the projected talent that Svech has. If van wins a lotto spot. No trading down.

I think he's the consensus #2 as well but I'm not sure I trust the situation between America and Russia. I think things are going to get a lot worse and wouldn't be surprised if young Russian players go home, or are called home... or the way things are going with Visa's to Russian professionals like Pilots this last week, visa-less...

This is very exciting. I think I would be disappointed if we picked 9. Was hoping worst case senerio we got 5 or 6. I too like BT but unless he falls or trade up we're not getting him. See him going 4th. BT might not be as talented but come playoff time you know who's going to show up.

6-9 are D & interchangeable depending on each GM’s preference. Wahlstrom could go anywhere from 6-10.

Trading down is the least sexy move but still options are needed in JB’s back pocket to see if another GM is desparate. Lizten & if a crazy offer take it or say Nyet & it never happened.

I guess you are in the dark but Russian diplomats were expelled and the tit for tat on that is getting ridiculous. Now Russian pilots had their visa renewals denied... of course Russia will do something similar in return. It has the potential to be a situation where both countries completely refuse visa's for each other down the road and this has happened in the past during conflicts.

You think that's crazy but it's already happening. It's a legitimate concern if you are taking a player 2nd or 3rd OA.
