Moscow's Bolshoi Ballet has also been denied visas by the Americans. I wonder how far this will go over the next couple of years? Athletes?
At some point it's going to have to be a consideration when drafting a Russian. It won't even be his decision. |

Just my opinion but I doubt they'd go after NHL'ers or Basketball players, who knows though. The reason I say that is because these are American companies employing these guys for entertainment purposes.
By the way....it's 4:30am WTF man??? |

Watching Sweden vs USA u18s
Boqvist may drop if he continues to play like this. Next Liljegren.
K'Andre Miller for the USA is real good. Jake Wise is real good. Jack Hughes is just much better then every player in the tournament.

Maybe (who's kidding who) "when" the Canucks are bad next year maybe they can get lucky enough to draft Hughes and hopefully he grows a couple inches. |

He's only an inch shorter then Patrick Kane. Putting up similar numbers as Kane did at that age. |

Other then Dahlin, not a lot of Swedes I would want in the earlier rounds. This tournament is a much better gauge of prospects then the WJ at christmas time. Jake Wise plays like Brayden Point.
Bode Wilde looks like he could be a late 1st round not a middle 1st. |

Thank you. I’m glad somebody else has said it about Boqvist as I haven’t liked him for a long time. I don’t get the hype at all. Small, weak defensively and surprisingly ineffective when he has the puck. I’m glad the Canucks feel the same way |

He is one of the youngest defenders in the draft. Same age as Merkley. He will probably turn out to be a pretty good NHL player. Going to have a wait an extra year or two compared to some of the other defenders. Doesn't mean he won't be better then them though.
He's just someone if you are picking at say 5OA you hope to be in the NHL sooner rather then later.
Comes down to, do you want possibly one of the best players in the draft or do you want the most nhl ready player... |

This late winter killed my sleeping habits. Go to bed early, wake up in the middle of the night. Stay up late and I see day light. I'm about to start fishing next week though. South Cariboo Lakes are breaking up. Everything will be like clockwork. Full night sleeps.
