Oh, I think you are referring to souvlaki. That is chunks of meat. Gyro meat is a cone/loaf cooked on a vertical spit. It is shaved off then put on a pita and dressed up like souvlaki. Both are great.

Yeah, I just didn't have luck with the beef. Every other meat I tried was unbelievable, especially the lamb.

What's (frank)ed up is I was there 2 weeks ago and saw the metal bollards on Finch as we walked and said to myself those are useless because they could easily get a car in between them
