[quote=Pegullaville]I would literally be on the phone with Bergervin as soon as the lottery balls pop up and go hard at acquiring his first rounder this year for O’Reilly. Package him with a prospect if we have too. If we can get one of Dahlin, Svechnikov, Zadina. And one of Boqvist, Whalstrom, TK we will be cup contenders by 2021. Including two first rounders next year. If Botts and his scouting staff can put together two strong drafts this year and next nobody will be laughing at us anymore. - washedup20
Antipin has said since he arrived here in August that he likes the city of Buffalo a lot. He had an English tutor and he said, “It’s cool, I learned English, so thank you Sabres for helping me.
“Buffalo was comfortable, it’s like the same city as I played for in Russia.”
I wonder if PHam is backtracking here a bit. He was the one that kept pushing the "Antipin doesn't speak English and the Sabres haven't done anything about it." Also his article is almost Garth level with its atrocious "proof-reading".
I've mentioned before that a lot of Russians(yes, I know he's a Kazakh, but he played in Russia) and other Eastern Europeans like it here because it reminds them of home.

Yeah, I can see that... - Wetbandit1
Well who’s laughing now Pegs? See that, Russia! Just like it.

They are always attrocious. It's stream of consciousness.
I was hoping we could trade Antipin's rights, but I won't be mad if he just goes home. He was supposed to be an offensive defenseman and he had none of that
I haven't notice anyone mentioning this so I thought I would bring it up.
Has anyone seen the players invited to the NFL Draft?
In case you haven't here's a link to the list: http://www.nfl.com/news/s...-attending-2018-nfl-draft
The thing I found absolutely astonishing was that only 3 of the Top 4 QBs were invited along with QB Lamar Jackson, but Mayfield was not . Why a Consensus Top 5 pick wasn't invited is beyond me. Anyone hear of any reasons why Baker wouldn't be there or is the NFL just giving him the finger, if you know what I mean. It just doesn't make sense to me, what do you guys think?
