If JT walks the team should just rebuild. - Danformo
Agreed. If JT walks, clean house. Get rid of Snow, Weight and Co, hire Dean Lombardi and let him trade every vet he can for picks and prospects. Build around Barzal. |

Your opinion sucks monkey 🥜. The yes chant is still fantastic. Go watch the devils. They still have the most immature garbage chant in the league with their “you suck” chant. So original. - BringNYIhome

So on the bright side of things (for me anyway) The Roadrunners beat the poop out of the San Jose Barricuda, both on the scoreboard & physically, at home last night 6-0. They now lead the series 2-1 with game 4 coming Friday. That is all.
You may now continue talking about the rebuild continuing in 2045.
Edit: Stephon Williams came in for Bibeau (boo-boo) who allowed 5 goals on 15 shots. Williams allowed 1 goal on 12 shots. Believe you me, he heard all about being an Islanders reject. |

Regardless of JT singing, you gotta think the ownership is aware Snow is not the guy. For whatever reason he's still employed by the isles but im not sure to what capacity, as Botta has been reporting they are looking to bring in a president of sorts.
The fact that Snow is gambling on 91 signing here is an absolute travesty. After his history of failed extensions, to allow him to get to July 1 with the "hopes" he re signs him is total MISmanagement. Short of a private handshake deal, (which i dont believe to be the case otherwise he woulda signed already), allowing him to wait without testing the waters with his trade value is not team first.
If Lou Lam is available after Toronto got knocked out, you gotta pony up whatever it costs and give this guy complete autonomy, and let Snow take whatever title you want that has nothing to do with any hockey decisions. In two years the isles would be cup contenders under sweet Lou........they have picks and prospects to plug holes, which Snow has failed to do year after year. |

Isles need to make a full court press for Lou. I think he will come here especially since his son his here and Lou can run things. Having two big names like Lou and Shanny in the front office is just not going to work. You need one boss. |

Absolutely. If L&M are waiting to decide Snow's fate based on what JT does, that too is a travesty. How and/or why Snow is still employed is an outright disgrace and a slap in the face to Isles fans. He's done nothing to warrant retaining his job. Or any job, for that matter. This is why it is so infuriating and frustrating to be an Islanders fan.

7 posted, a few blogs ago, that Snow might be there as a place holder so L&M wouldn't have to tell JT "as soon as we find someone to interview, we'll interview them." Whoever the new GM (like we're getting a new GM ) will be, they can't be worse than Snow. |

7 could have a point. No more excuses for L&M. Fitzgerald is available to talk to and now hopefully Lou. Plenty of other good candidates out there now.

Yeah, but you know this organization. They'll wait until July 4th and then keep Garf. The excuse will be that no more good candidates were available. They expected JT to re-sign, but when he didn't, it left them in the lurch. The only option they had was to keep Snow. It's just how piss poor this organization is run. |

Isles have had everything break their way with the Devils and Leafs out early. No excuses will fly. Even if you take Lou out of the picture, plenty of good GM candidates available. |

But again, you know this organization. Nothing gets done the way a normal, logical person would do it. Everything is fingers crossed and lame excuses. |

Money talks......at this point you gotta just poney up and bring in a guy who's very well respected, and has a history of signings. |

Id be curious to know where Botta is getting his info from. Im not denying the credibility but i think if he's hearing that Ledecky is actually looking to bring someone in then that is def a good sign for us as fans. |

It would be. Definitely. But, since it's the Isles, I'll believe it when I see it. |

Every day that goes by makes it more likely Snow will remain the GM. He is still very much in charge and has been signing players. There are no indications this will change. |
