Someone said Pittsburgh has a 30 goal scorer on each of their 3 lines. That's what it takes now serious scoring from 3 lines - Just5
Yet you objected to Konency being moved to the 3rd line.

Have yet to try it, but I've actually heard mixed reviews about it. It is supposed to be THE reason to go to Royal Farms.
I may actually try it this weekend, as I'll have occasion to pass a Royal Farms in my travels. |

I have no doubt Hexy does his diligence and kicks the tires on Tavares. He wouldn't be doing his job otherwise. I just honestly think when he sees that 11 aav tag he passes and we continue on the path he set. - MBFlyerfan
Honestly what kicking tires needs to be done? You know what Taveras is as a player and what the likely cost is going to be. He has the leverage. It's going to be fax the agent an offer and they'll get back to you, or not. |

With the cap going north of 80 million, there is no way in hell that Provy's agent is going to take 6.5 per over 8 years. It will be at least 64 million for 8 years or he's going to sign short term. The guy was one of the leading goal scoring Dmen last year without top pp unit time, he plays nearly 25 minutes a night and a lot of it against top lines and on the PK. Plus, until he got hurt, he was approaching 30 minutes a night in the playoffs. Most experts see him as future Norris finalist and potential Norris winner too.
Getting him long term for less than 8 million aav is a pipe dream. - BiggE
8M AAV is high. I don't see him getting that much.

There's one by Exit 18 on 295. I tried it last night. Although I had some issues with the wait time, the chicken was very good.
But yes, the chicken is the reason to go. It's not like WaWa at all, so don't expect it to be. |

So who are you pulling for tonight? For me, it's the lesser of 2 evils.
Toronto - the most annoying fan base in the world. Despite not having won since expansion, they think that every player on their team is a prized asset, and they're annoying as hell at visitor's stadiums. And although I like Matthews, I don't like the team in general ever since the Tie Domi/Adam Burt incident.
Boston - I despise the team. The fans are bumholes, but so are Flyers' fans, so that's a wash. But I definitely cannot stand the team, especially Brad Marchand. I do like McAvoy, and I respect Bergeron, but that's where it ends.
In the end, it's Toronto fans vs. the Bruins team. The tiebreaker is Jack Edwards, so I'm pulling for Toronto, and then pulling for them to get swept by Tampa Bay. |

He just missed out on being on that 79 Pirates team that won it all, having been traded for Tim Foli to a last place Mets team.

I would think at least that, 8 on the high end. Ekblad's cap hit is $7.5. This is Prov's last year on the entry deal, there is inflation. That's the range though but it's important to keep in mind his cap hit is $1.75 now and there will be a jump but the jump won't be the entire cap hit and the Flyers still have a handful of underperforming deals on the books even for next year. I don't think they'll be in cap hell for some time. |

Toronto. I've never liked their fans and the whole belief that every player would love to play there, but Boston as a whole is worse to me. Between their fans expecting to win titles every year in every sport to Brad Marchand to Jack Edwards to Tom Brady to my douche of a friend who grew up in South Jersey but "coincidentally" became a fan of all of Boston's teams in the early 2000s
GO LEAFS GO
Edit - I apologize to Toronto fans for jinxing them by rooting for them. Boston takes it now, 5-1. |

Ekblad is not the only comparable. I'm sure his agent will use it but I still think it will be lower than that. We'll see. |

What's funny is you don't see a lot of FA go east to west because of the travel. i know Ryan Miller did but that was because of other factors.
