I'm growing really tired of all this speculation surrounding the NFL draft and who is going to take which quarterback where.
Because, as we all know, nobody really knows what the hell the teams really intend to do, and after after that, nobody ever knows how the kids who get drafted will actually turn out.
It's all just a giant crap shoot.
I can't wait for the NFL draft to be over. - Der Kaiser
"When asked which teams he met with, the Buffalo Bills were the first team he mentioned. Jackson ran the Erhardt-Perkins offense at Louisville. That happens to be the same offense Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is scholed in. Jackson is more than confident he can command that offense in the NFL, too."
And with the 12th pick in the nfl draft, the buffalo bills select...

I have a strong feeling you may be right about this.
Never said it was a magical season. If you're betting, you take the under on him. Odds are against him playing 81 games back to back seasons. - Lunaion
Wouldn't the odds on any NHL player be against him playing 81 games in back to back seasons?

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Patriots' interest in Louisville QB Lamar Jackson is "legit."
Jackson had two separate workouts with the Patriots this draft season, holding a private one in South Florida with OC Josh McDaniels and then visiting the organization on a top-30 visit in Foxboro. The Patriots, holding pick Nos. 23 and 31 in the first round, probably aren't going to have the desired firepower to move up to the top 10 of the draft, so they could be eyeing second-tier passers like Jackson and Mason Rudolph in the second half of the first round. Still, New England would probably have to come up some to take Jackson.

browns would be foolish to move out of 4...they'll get the pick of the litter when it comes to quarterbacks and one of the top-two players in the draft...

Yes. That's a big part of my point. I get the feeling that a lot of people would like to keep RoR around for 1 more season. There's significant risk in doing that.

Yet he has done it.
Dude is going to give you 70+ and 55+ a year and has done it 6 out of the last 7 seasons (the 7th being the shortened season and he held out). He'll put up those numbers for the next 5 years.
Not a guy you build around but a very nice 2c that eats up mins.

In his 3 years as a Sabre, you can pretty much set your watch to his production
21/39/60
20/35/55
24/37/61
There's nothing to suggest he wouldn't do it again, other than this dubious back injury claim
I like ROR and you would usually look to build with him but it makes no sense for the Sabres to keep him, not at the stage this team is in IMO. - SABRES 89
I meant from a risk perspective. I don't see a risk in keeping him

He's not the problem nor is he the solution at this time.
