Its more about what Tanev brings to the table & any GM would like him. His injuries & offence is what too many ppl harp on but it remains that he is a great add for almost any team not named eg Nashville

I don't disagree that most teams would want him and could use him.
i just don't think he's at his peak value any longer, due to the reasons you mentioned.

i'd rather not sell low on Tanev right now. i'd prefer to wait, cross my fingers that he can play injury free for a stretch, up his value and move him at the tdl.

i'd move Hutton, Granlund and either goalie right now, if i could.

Like Manvan the know it all as usual wrong again. The poster that suggested Dumba for Tanev was not me , you should go back and try reading again and this time pay attention. He also said signing Dumba won't be easy because of cap issues . He suggested Tanev for Dumba and a few parts added.

The Ennis Coyle for Granlund is my offer and of course you go fudging numbers to make yourself look smart again.

We don't have a goalie starter to trade. Tanev is a worth while trade chip but I am finding it harder and harder to see his value as high anymore. 101 in TOI for D this year and 142th in PPG. The league is about scoring now.

For how many years now have we seen at drafts and deadlines other defenders get traded that aren't as good and we would take that value for Tanev. I gotta believe that we hold his value quite a bit higher then other teams.
