So if McCoy is going to be a baby in the locker room about a tweet from six years ago maybe we should trade him tonight |

they have much more knowledge and access to information than you or I have...just because they didn't select the fan favorite or a player the fans view as a better qb, doesn't mean they got the wrong qb for what they're were looking for - Michael Pachla
That is precisely the issue here.
I haven’t seen one detractor of the pick rip on Josh personally.
They believe the decision makers made a poor decision selecting him.
And to come out and use his size, weight, hand size, and strong arm...physical attributes to justify the selection for a position that requires high skills such as accuracy, ball placement, decision making, ability to read defenses..all the knock other experts have cited, well frankly that is pathetic.
I believe Josh is a fine young man, hard working, comes from a great family..we all will love those characteristics. |

Surely.
Is it good enough fo4 me? Nope.
Explain to me the fact that he is the most inaccurate QB of the top 4, maybe 6 but I think LJ was around there too .... so if he is inaccurate...
How in the hell does playing in a windy statium help that?
Wouldn’t the inverse argum3nt be the one to make?
I.e. he was inaccurate because he played in a windy statium?
Having a strong arm is no cure for being inaccurate.
The cure is, we believe we can fix his mechanics which will improve his accuracy...
(Then think about the success they have had with JP, Trent, EJ, Cardale, TT) - IonSabres
I can't figure this out either. It's absolutely meaningless |

Now we have this smh
Lorenzo Alexander: Josh Allen may have to answer for insensitive tweets
http://www.espn.com/nfl/s...answer-insensitive-tweets - gerbe75pts
this is why kids shouldn't be allowed to make permanent comments that can't go away... i had a lot of twisted views when i was a kid, hell just over the last year i have changed my opinions on some things based upon my experiences and i am in my mid 30s.. I don't know how but i am going to have to really make sure my kids understand you can't erase this stuff.. |

7) Buffalo Bills: QB Josh Allen, Wyoming – Accuracy be damned. The Bills took the plunge with the project player with an immense ceiling largely based on his monster arm. However, it’s hard to shake this observation from Yahoo Sports’ Pat Forde, who got a look at the Wyoming QB at Senior Bowl: “Then there are his numbers in Wyoming’s games against opponents from Power Five conferences. Facing Iowa and Oregon in 2017 and Nebraska in ’16, Allen was 48 of 96 for 427 yards, with one touchdown and eight interceptions. Disastrous numbers.” Good luck, Bills. Grade: C- |

I looked at the tweets, just looked like he was copying the culture of most rap songs at the time.
I swear, I am so over people getting mad that a kid who copies his favorite rap songs and gets banged on because his skin tone is too light to use that terminology and act the way he sees others.
Of note - I only saw a couple of tweets but that's my take. |

Ill be honest, i dont like the pick. What i dont like even more is not even taking qbs in the first place. If we had just taken a guy like him at 12oa or say in the 2nd round would anyone be upset? If its all about the two 2nds we gave up, im over it, meh. |

I hope that's the approach...they need to build an offensive line and add wide receivers, maybe a tight end...and in a few years they'll probably need to add a rb...but cool thing is they'll have tons of cap space, plus nine picks next draft, to work with - Michael Pachla
Yup, lots of holes. That cap space will sure come in handy though, you're right.
I'm more excited about having all that to play with, they'll trade up and have less picks, so 9 doesn't excite me as much I guess. |

The goal was Rosen and the bills thought a better idea was getting a franchise quarterback that could be a franchise quarterback with more upside

Seriously, Brandon Beane and McDermott mentioned the weather here as a reason they picked Allen.
What a joke. - sbroads24
Of course they did, maybe they should've spent more time on looking at what the weather has been in the past. GR did it, they November for the last 10 years and there were only like 3 games under 42º.
It's like saying the Dolphins should have a cannon arm QB because they travel to NY, Buffalo and Foxborough late in the season. It's asinine. |

Edmunds would have been a solid pick at #12 and they got their QB. Hard to hate on that. All QB's are a gamble. |
