If he sucks, and you are right, are you not even willing to let him prove you right? The choices were him or Rosen and it's over now, we have our guy. Maybe he stinks, but at least give the guy the chance to stink. - sskkoo1
I'm willing to let him prove me wrong..
But what I don't understand how do you draft a project quarterback when you have no one to groom him

No he was the best pro ready quarterback in this draft
The only thing that would of been a concern would be the online he would have to sit until that's fixed |

So you know with certainty that Rosen is ready to step in day 1, but you also know with certainty that Allen needs to be groomed. Did you figure all this out by watching Pegula's airplane? |

So you hate Allen so much because the O-line sucks? Seems discriminatory. |

So you're telling me right now Josh Allen is pro ready ?
His accuracy will just magically be fixed
His short ball game will be fixed
Anything over 10 yards will be fixed?
Small Windows will be fixed
I want bills to sign a vet quarterback I don't know if Matt Moore is still there but they should sign him and he could learn from him |

The highly accurate Tyrod Taylor led us to three points in the playoffs and had maybe 2 comeback wins in the fourth quarter in three years. Accuracy, schmaccuracy. So glad we got a big, tough player that is not afraid to zip it around a little.
Allen hit a metal bar 8 feet off the ground from 35 yards away in one try...his release is as fast as Brady....he throws on the run like Favre....smarter than Darnold....I guess the upside is it will distract a certain poster from going on and on about how bad the Myers trade was for a while. |

No. I never claimed to have that knowledge. In fact, I've only said that I know virtually nothing about these guys (top 4 Qbs). You are the one who is endless posting about the future as if you know. You are the one who is so blatantly bias against this guy Allen even though he's yet to take a snap, and yet, you are the one who constantly post about "isms" here on this board. |

I just don't get what the bills are doing ..
You have two guys on the roster that have played in the combined 12 games and these 2 are going to groom our franchise quarterback ? |

Listen I'm going to get over the pick but the bills have to be smart at development he's clearly not ready probably not until next year he needs to sit behind a vet QB and soak in everything like a sponge
But I don't think you can do that with AJ |

your point is what ? Allen or Rosen, both of these guys will groom either one . You're complaining to complain. Allen hasn't thrown a pass yet and already everyone wants to hang him. |

I agree, this is valid point, but like anyone else in this world, give the guy a chance, what choice do you have? The pick is made, he's here, and we either support him or stop being a Bills fan for the next 3-4 years. |

I think the Bills are were scared of Rosen being too frail . Concussions and shoulder issues already with the slender frame he has. . I like the pick of Allen . Maybe Brain trust covets a physical speciman like they had in Carolina with Cam Newton or Pittsburgh has in Big Ben . He holds a clipboard for 2 years and gets coached on mechanics and defense reading . I like how the Pack groomed Rogers for 3 years. |

I just don't understand how we're going to groom him
With the QBS on this roster
I mean it's quite concerning that both the QBs on our roster are not really vet quarterbacks that have been through the process of fighting through a season

I'm giving him a chance I'm just hoping the bills do the smartest thing possible and bring in a vet QB
AJ has never been a starting QB ever and we're going to trust him to groom our future QB when he hasn't even done it himself?
Things like this could destroy him I'm sure they have a plan in place |

You hire the right coaches for the real grooming . Bret Favre never groomed Rogers. Word is he would not give him the time of day . Let alone groom him
