Josh Allen's tweets exemplify a generational development and rift.
A lot of Millennials have inter-racial friend groups, consisting of people of European, African and Asian descent.
Almost all of them use the term "Ni**a" as a term of endearment for one another, much like they would use "Bro" or "Dude".
There is a stark difference between "Ni**a" with he SOFT A and "Ni**er" with the HARD R.
Why no one is discussing this is in and of itself a problem we face in today's society, one that refuses to evolve, focuses too much on identity politics and fails to address the actual problems behind any kind of controversy.
Coming from me, some of you may be surprised but aside from the "If you ain't white, you ain't right" tweet (which I think wasn't serious, either), none of those tweets were racially charged attacks on anyone. - BeadyEyedDouche
Not sure where you're getting that. I would never, ever, ever do that. Nor have I ever heard one of my white friends say that. It's a pretty easy rule: if you're white, don't say it. White people don't need an opinion on it. Leave it to black people to decide how that term is used going forward.
Also, get ready for fourth.
And Pach, I believe the wheels were already in motion to change the lottery rules beforre "McEichel." The league was unhappy with the Oilers picking first for like 5 years in a row. We were late to the party

The if it ain't white it ain't right was a quote from Modern Family
There is a huge difference between being racist and being a racially insensitive teenager.
This isn't a controversy, it will be addressed and then people will forget about it. It was just another thing people will hold against him if he doesn't work out.
If anything calling everyone racist is so 2017, the word racist is so overused in todays world, it really kills and devalues the meaning of that word and that's not a good thing.

Not everything is about you. Your opinion on the subject was not needed. Thanks for your time.

2 of those 4 years the oilers didn’t actually finish last tho. They just happened to win it.
While the sabres have now actually finished last more times than the oilers during this awful stretch, but just haven’t managed to win the lottery
Just sayin bro
I seriously hope u guys pull it off this time.
The oilers need to be trading their pick regardless so I want no part of it
