The first thing you have to wonder is how he would have played with Kane.

Nah. He’d still destroy. The guy was saddled with lucic and a cast of barely nhl’ers for much of the year.
Other than having connor, the sabres and oilers are not significantly different in terms of skill

There's that I agree but San Jose needs a guy like Kane and they know it. I can't imagine he's not going to get a good offer from them.

OVERALL

Taron Johnson looks penciled in to be a career slot nickel player who could carve out a solid contributing role with a team that utilizes zone coverages at intermediate levels. He has above-average awareness and instincts with the quickness to mirror early. Speed and size are concerns, but a team can mitigate those with good game-planning and in-game personnel management.

I find it odd that you and a few others have this absolute love affair for Kane after he made the organization look like fools for acquiring him.

Especially after he’s been traded. I mean, all we usually do is bash former Sabres.

Why don’t you just come out and say it, you love Evander, you can’t wait for him to do something good so you can point it out, letting everyone know they should feel the same

I sure hope we get in the top 3 so that we can focus on something positive related to the Sabres (and Bills) vs all the mud-slinging that goes on around here. Hopefully Botts has taken a four leaf clover or lucky rabbits foot with him to Toronto for the lottery.
