I was actually hoping he wouldn't get/take the job I like our GMs how they are right now. They seem to be moving in the right direction. Now when it comes to the coaching staff, I think Jason and Phil need to get rid of few people there and bring in some better, more experienced coaches. I wouldn't mind bringing Ruff back as some sort of Assistant just not sure he would want to come to Buffalo with someone else being Head Coach after he was head coach for so long.

He was just an assistant in NY. And they didn't fire him to my knowledge. Which means if there was any possibility he'd be behind the bench in Buffalo, NYR would need to release him.

The more I think about it, I'm guessing Svech has a bigger impact in his rookie season over Dahlin. But I think i'd still take Dahlin over him. How many times do you get to draft a kid like Dahlin ? Never ? Take him, but it's gonna hurt watching Svech score a ton of goals in Carolina.

Your getting a player that his offensive game is compared to the likes of Erik Karlsson and the defensive game of Nicholas Lindstrom

He can score all he wants it would not Shock Me if he's one of those defenseman that scores 30 a year plus a Norris Trophy vote
