Why would you take a window of 10-12 years of prime for Eichel and Dahlin and shrink it down to three years?

That should send a good message to the team. Not to mention Tkachuk is a top 5 draft pick. If you think trading ROR for a draft pick is a good idea then thank god you are not running this team.

nobody is shrinking anything. but a superstar on an ELC is going to be the easiest point of winning a cup with a salary cap, take advantage of it.

I just don’t think it’s hard at all to replace what O’Reilly brings. Especially with Mittelstadt coming up.

Do you like Casey Mittelstadt ? Cause you’ll love Tk or Wahlstrom. Wahlstrom can be the next Phil Kessel. Do you like Phil kessel ? I’m sure Eichel would love a player that can pot 30 on his right wing.... this draft class is stacked. Zadina is going to go 3rd or 4th and he would have been a landslide 1st overall last year.

He scores at EV like a below average 2nd line center. That’s a fact.

If you want to be impressed with him potting goals 5 on 4 because the opposition takes away Eichel’s shot from the left side, and gives him plenty of room on the right, be my guest.
