I think they should play Mittelstadt on Jacks Wing for majority season and ease him into NHL center position . Trade O'Reilly at the trade deadline for a max return . Let Casey become #2 center at that point . Top line of Eichel , Mittelstadt and Reinhart could be fun to watch

If you move him for say 7th, that gives you a shot at whoever is left over from Tkachuk, Hughes, Boqvist and Wahlstrom.

Wahlstrom has better USHL numbers than Mittelstadt did, and Hughes freshman year as a d-man was very, very good.
