Well if JVR, Komodo and Bozak all leave July 1 you will certainly need something. No way and exodus of offence and character of that magnitude can be easily replaced by players currently on the depth chart.

Sadly, we need to protect too many Lucic’s and Sekeras for expansion so I can see the value in trading Nuge for the #2. Make no mistake tho, that trade is as big a step back as the Hall and Eberle trades, but with at least some upside.

Eberle is a (frank)ing loser. I’m glad he’s gone. You don’t win in the playoffs with no heart, no effort, pussies like that. And the Hall trade, as much as nobody liked it, filled a need that we had. Should we have got a little more? Yes. Were we hoping for a lot more? Most definitely. But I can live with it. I love what Larsson brings to the table for us.
