Yeah...I figured they would sign him next season...he's still under contract in the SHL. I guess he has an out clause to play there if he doesn't make the NHL at camp.

Addison, Evans, Verbeek, Alain, Pezzetta, Bitten, Vejdemo...maybe Cale Fleury on defense...The Rocket will have a different look on the ice next season.

If this were written in January, Vejdemo would have been mentioned with the top prospects in the organization. But after seeing his confidence dissipate yet again, Vejdemo’s NHL upside remains unclear.

In the first half of the season, he showed a ton of promise with a powerful stride, slick stick skills, and defensive acumen. He played like a blossoming power centre with deft playmaking ability. He racked up 16 points in 25 games through 2017, but had just six in 22 games in 2018.

Vejdemo’s contract with Djurgårdens IF runs through next season; however, should the Canadiens choose to sign him this offseason, it’s likely he will move overseas.

actually for the first time ever i find myself rooting for another Canadian team. i think it would be very cool if the Jets won the Cup. and if not them, Vegas. just for the anarchy.
