If Morin can get back into the lineup to beef up what is currently a rather thin Phantoms blueline beyond its top three (the NHL callup by the Flyers and then waiver loss to Colorado of Mark Alt was also a blow to the Phantoms' defense corps), it would be a big addition for the Phantoms.

Games involving the Penguins that include Pierre McGuire as part of the broadcast team are unlistenable. I got so disgusted with his fawning that put the game on mute after the first period. He's that bad.

A lot will depend on the teams. Like is Washington unloading one of there goalies? Would chicago move Crawford to clear space? Who would be enough of an upgrade that your willing to move assets for a goalie.

Games involving the Penguins that include Pierre McGuire as part of the broadcast team are unlistenable. I got so disgusted with his fawning that put the game on mute after the first period. He's that bad.

Agree 100%. And his constant using of his nicknames for players (Kristopher Letang, Tommy Wilson, Geno) to prove he's an insider is gagging.

I would explore Calvin Pickard. Hextall had him at the World Championships and he played well so there is some familiarity.

If Washington loses to the Pens do they blow things up and maybe move Holtby for a cheaper Grubauer? Do they need cap space to resign Carlsson?

Would Chicago move Crawford to clear 6 million on the cap? WOuld he be an upgrade over Elliott? Could you swap Elliott for Crawford? This helps the Hawks clear cap space and Elliott only has two years left at 6 million

Do nothing. No point burning assets for a another marginal goalie. Lets just wait for Carter "Real Deal" Hart. By then all our young defenseman will be veterans, and we should see Giroux making a transition from "top" player to more of a Danny Briere type of player...absent during the regular season but a monster in the playoffs.

Washington could be interesting if they lose. I think they could move a goalie and I wonder if they would move one of the big money forwards to revamp the roster a little.
